Gustavsson Legacy IV - Generation 2

Marja had already aged up before Ingolf. They were still all over each other, though. I have never seen this before. Ok, they are both Knowledge sims, but still, the wants windows are both filled with wants to talk, play, flirt, wohoo with the other - constantly. It is not even spring! And they only share two bolts. Nevertheless, this couple is definitely in love.

While the kids were still in college, Ingolf became elder.

They threw a party for the occasion, and the kids came over. Marja is so proud of her sons! (Ok, I admit, the look in her face is rather blank, just pretend she is looking proudly :-))

I don´t know where Anders went, but I have grown more and more attached to Flynn and Arkadij.



The two elders are having a good time. When they are not kissing or hugging, Ingold loves to smustle, and Marja is the bathtub pirate. They both retired and enjoy they quiet time with each other.





Or they smustle together and make me feel like I play an asylum challenge again.


Marja still has that secret, never-expressed crush on John Hunter. They have been best friends forever, and he is so dear to her heart. If the rules (which I broke quickly in generation 2) did not state that the founder had to marry a townie, she would have been together with John. Well, some things are not meant to be, but I always get a little melancholic when I see these two together.



Basic finished University a semester earlier than Anders and already moved in with the Gustavssons.



 
Then I went and played Cissy´s Beauty Palace, and darn ACR kicked in when Flynn and Basic were there at the same time.



I could not believe my eyes. Flynn, would you please stop kissing your brother´s fiance and soon to be the heir´s spouse??? Aargh. Sometimes I hate ACR. Basic and Anders were already engaged, but not married. Interesting enough, Anders refused flirt attempts when he moved into the Greek House:

He was upset when Nikolai tried kissing his arm, and Nikolai kissing thin air instead is hilarious! Well, I guess Sims are just different when it comes to flirt attempts ... despite how ACR is set up.

Nevertheless, when Anders finally finished Uni and moved back in with his parents, Basic dropped everything and went outside to greet his partner passionately and lovingly:



And they hugged. And kissed. And flirted. And kissed some more ... it was cute.

 And since Anders as a family Sim wants to celebrate the Golden Wedding, I let them marry right away. (Basic is a fortune Sim, btw.)



During the ceremony, a stray random Sim came by and joined the festivities. There is no greater way to photobomb the wedding picture by hopping into the front of all friends with a tacky pink suit!! (Not to mention the haircut. And the face. Note to self: Grab random townies more often and give them a makeover.)

Ingolf joined the ceremony a little late, but as an elder gets excused. I love his Indian style formal suit!

I am not sure though why Marja did not care at all about her firstborn´s wedding and decided to eat some hotdogs with Flynn, who did not care either. Arkadij had to work and could not join.

I have grown fonder and fonder of the twins, and was slightly regretting making Anders the heir, but, what the heck. They will get a little update on their own.

Eldred is too damn cute when he is flirting, because he has only one or two outgoing points. He always gets embarrassed completely, but could not stop flirting with his partner Aeon.

Basic had to leave for work. The party was a great success.

Yeah, and then it was baby-making time :-) Stay tuned to find out when generation 3 of the Gustavsson Legacy will be born!

Luna Hatter

I just realized that Luna did not get a proper introduction.

She is the daughter of Matt Hatter and the the result of an alien abduction. Her stepfather is Reamur Shadowbane.

 

(I am using a multi-pollination technician mod from the Garden of Shadows called "Stolen by Fairies" from Hat. Isn´t Luna just gorgeous???)

Matt, Rae and the servo Nautilus made sure she received all the attention she needed.

Her brother, also the result of an alien abduction, is Flux Hatter.

 

When she grew up, she made friends with Sophie Black, adopted daughter of Malcolm Black (neé Landgraab) and Jonathan Black, and also with Elaine Adams, who became her best friend.

She has another brother, Reamur Shadowbane, who is Matt´s and Rae´s son.

(Despite his parents being great-looking, I am not too fond of his face and constantly try to get it right without losing the combined Shadowbane/Hatter look. I am still not content.)

Luna sadly rolled a Romance aspiration (her father and step-father are both Knowledge Sims, and this is how I picture her, but I thought I could always change that later).

She lived with Elaine and Eldred in the Greek House. It was a great trio, except for the fact that Eldred was heart-broken because his lover Jonah Powers completely forgot about him after graduation.

There was a short episode of infatuation with Ziggy, Elaine´s fiancé, which caused quite a bit of turmoil in the Greek House.



Both are aliens, and they were naturally drawn to each other, but after Ziggy had broken up with Elaine, they realized it was not about sex, but a deeper bonding due to their alien legacy, and decided to stay close friends, and not lovers. (Gosh, it broke my heart to separate Elaine from Ziggy. These two are just meant for each other!!)

Luna had a few other lovers, with Amir Thompson being the most remarkable.



She still has a crush on him and sees him regularly, but they have not decided to go really steady.



I managed to get her through most of Uni with that dreaded Romance aspiration, then gave in after it became too annoying. Now she is a Knowledge sim and enjoys life as a journalist.

A little blurb about her relationship with Eldred:


Eldred grew up in a children´s home without parents, and  invokes a lot of motherly feelings in Luna. When he was heart-broken in Uni, he would have been easy prey for Luna, but she tactfully refrained from dragging him into bed. They became best friends and moved in together after their graduation, while Eldred was waiting for Aeon to finish Uni.

Deep inside, Luna loves Eldred. She is touched by his shyness as well as his determination to make something out of his life. He studied extremely hard to become a doctor, and she admires his ambition (and bed-making qualites). She knows he is gay (I mean, it is hard to overlook :-) ), so she never really approached him.

When Eldred got pregnant with twins, he moved out and left a very sad Luna.

Although Uni drags on and on, I am kind of sad that Luna and Eldred will leave the University after 4 years. The Greek House is still my favorite house in Uni, and the trio consisting of Eldred, Luna and Elaine was always fun to watch.

And I then realized that Elaine will be the last one in the Greek House. She will surely miss her buddies. I think I will roll the dice to find out who will be the lucky ones who will join her.

Eldred invites Aeon over (wo brings the Unsavory Charlatan along as a friend, which makes me afraid my game is borked, but he just hangs out and plays pool).

They start flirting in the bathroom (where else?):

Eldred has the wish that someone would flirt with him (it is obviously spring), but instead of taking the opportunity to spend some more time with Aeon, Eldred does what Eldred likes most, and this is not sex, but cleaning:

Oh, yes, you dirty little sink, give it to me!!

Thankfully, Aeon does not belong to the obsessive-compulsive faction, and stoically waits until Eldred is done.

Doesn´t he just look gorgeous? *sigh*

His sister Elaine is a real beauty, too. Tony and Akira just have pretty kids.

Ziggy Stardust, Elaine´s fiancé, drops by and leaves a gift for a date they had, a chess table.

He was made by strange_tomato who wrote the wonderful story "Strangetown, here we come", which was sadly never finished, but I so enjoyed reading it. He is a "breed" of Johnny Smith and Ripp Grunt and originally called Markus, and I just had to have him in my game.

And then the trio has exams, and soon Eldred and Luna will leave. I finished here, but they of course will throw one of their famous Greek House Parties before they will go.
