Thor Gustavsson

Thor is Aeryn´s younger brother and second child to Anders and Basic Gustavsson. Just when they thought they were done with child raising, he popped in. He inherited the typical mixture of Gustavsson traits, neither very outgoing nor nice, but a perfectionist when it comes to cleaning. He longs to meet a brown-haired, illogical vampire. I kind of knew then that life would not be easy for young Thor.

While he usually is very shy and reserved, that can change completely when he enters the dance floor. He even received the Tsang Footwork Award for his outstanding dancing skills.

(Thor turned out to be so completely cute, my heart melted instantly. He looked so ordinary as a child, but when he grew up, the resemblance to my favorite siblings Arkadij and Flynn, his uncles, made him my instant favorite.)

Thor shares a house with 

Mia "Clingy" Powers

Despite her innocent looks, Mia can get very determined when she wants something. She might not always be successful, but this does not stop her from trying. 

(Of course I made the mistake thinking she is a Family Sim, because deep inside she is. But life (aka The Great Big Randomizer) threw a Knowledge aspiration at her.

She is the daughter of Jonah Powers and Mitch Indie, two premade University Sims (who I of course made over).

Xenos Stardust

The third roommate in the house is Xenos Stardust, son of Elaine and Ziggy Stardust.

Elaine and Ziggy met in college, actually the same one Xenos is attending now. Elaine comes from one of the oldest and richest families in town, the Shadowbanes (it is kind of hard to overlook that).

Ziggy simply fell from the sky :-)

Xenos loves cats and fishing. He is used to be surrounded by a ton of relatives, including his immortal great-grandfather Raeburn Shadowbane. He admires strong, independent women like his mother Elaine and grandmother Akira. He is nice, outgoing and playful, an easy buddy overall.


The other house is shared by Griffin Thompson and Frederick Powers.

Griffin Thompson

Griffin grew up in an apartment-sharing community with his parents Maik and Pierce Thompson, Luna Hatter and her lover Amir al-Qadiri as well as the servo Fowler de la Garcia.

Maik is a waiter in a restaurant owned by Raeburn Shadowbane, the "Di Lorenzo", while Pierce is a college professor.

Griffin is the nerdy type in the friends group, serious, neat, had maxed out logic before he even attended college (but only because he had three school-free snow days in a row). He is nearly friends with everybody else thanks to the Gootentaugen Award Luna and Amir brought into the household (it boosts all needs, so he needed much less sleep and could hang on the phone for hours building his relationships.)

Griffin has absolutely no recollection of how he ended up in the Pleasure aspiration. I can´t picture him jumping on the sofa, either, but we will see.

He can´t remember why he wanted to move in with Frederick Powers. Sure, they have been friends forever, but half an hour in the house and Frederick breaks the computer, sets the bathroom under water and makes a general mess of everything. But I am getting ahead of myself :-)

There is something between these two that is not expressed in bolts or chemistry, a strange sort of attraction that I find worth exploring :-)

Anyway, on to our last candidate in the College Camp:

Frederick Powers

Frederick is the twin brother of Mia Powers. He wants to get rich soon, so he doesn´t have to work anymore. He thinks a mop is a German dog breed, and "detergent" a synonym for "deterrent". Frederick is delighted Griffin agreed to move in with him, because he appreciates Griffin´s superior cleaning skills. The first want to call was not his sister or parents, but the servo Nautilus. Guess why? :-)

Some kids just steal my heart, and he is one of them. He is such a personality.

So, this introduction is kind of long-winded, but it makes watching the interaction between the characters so much more fun if you know more about their backgrounds. I played two rotations/days of the four households and will share these soon.

I had such a blast with my University kids, I would like to share some of the fun I had playing them!

The last batch of kids I threw just into one big household, which was kind of stressful. I was happy when everybody was finished with Uni eventually. Having the "Shorter Uni Hack" didn´t help much either, because they really had to sit down and write their papers, just going to class was not enough to pass.

This time, I was getting annoyed with all the kids in the households. I have kids in various stages in 16 households. What, you are still not a teenager? And off to another round. I was so happy when everybody finally grew up, I shipped them to the campus right after their respective birthdays at 6 p.m.

The Freshmen turned out to be quite unique and lovely in their own way. The group dynamics have really entertained me in the last few days.

The Seniors

The torch holders in the Greek House, the Seniors, consist of Zoe "The Nose" Trussard, Aden "I´m so hot" Waters and Luc Cyrus.



Zoe is the daughter of Cissy and Count Maxim Trussard. Cissy runs two beauty parlors in town and puts a lot of emphasis on clothes and makeup. Count Maxim is a former Grand Vampire who once in while still likes to scare and "Bleh!" people. Both used to be Pleasure Sims until I nearly died from boredom of cycling through "jump on the sofa", "play guitar", "use the dance sphere", "make drinks" etc. etc.




Zoe is really sweet, but blessed with quite a nose. I think it adds to her personality, so I kept it. I don´t even know where it came from, her parents have just normal-sized olfactory organs. On a side-note, no one has brown hair in the family, either, but who needs genetics, anyway?




She has the misfortune to be a female Romance Sim in a mostly gay neighborhood, so the cute guys are always already taken.

She spent her Freshman year and quite a bit of her Sophomore year with a locked wish to have her "first kiss", and roamed the campus and attached downtown looking for Mr. Right. The only loveletter she has ever received was actually addressed to someone else, she just found it in the mailbox. :( Poor Zoe!!

Things began to change when she met Whatshisnameagain. While it remained just a fling, Zoe gained new self-confidence - and finally her first kiss!

Shortly afterwards, she met townie student Philipp Fuller and experienced the pleasures of being a Romance Sim.

While Philipp was cute and all, Zoe has since concentrated on studying and eventually becoming Celebrity Chef. She enjoys cooking for the whole Greek House and the frequent crowds that visit it.

The next in the Senior trio is Aden Waters, middle son of three, his parents are April and Ryan. Ryan was a former streaker and still hates to put on clothes. His wife and kids have learned to live with it.

Ryan is a jack of all trades, after successfully publishing a tabloid newspaper he has recently risen to fame as a cult leader. The cult is all about - you guessed it - nudity. After raising three kids, April feels a little lonely in the huge house and is looking for a new pastime. She is happy her eldest son Amadeus moved in with his husband Neel and is expecting.

Last but not least we have Luc Cyrus, son of Lewis and Dorian Cyrus.

Lewis, a space pirate (here with his mother Alice McGee Riddell and Ingolf Gustavsson) enjoys pursuing new business opportunities in his free time, while his husband Dorian is the kind yet firm mayor of our little town.

While it took Zoe one and a half semester to find a decent playmate, Aden and Luc knew after one and a half minutes that they were simply meant for each other.

The first kiss was soon followed by some hot, steamy sex their engagement.


"Man, I can´t believe how hot I am."

"When you entered the dorm, everyone else looked pale in comparison. It was like the sun had suddenly risen. I remember so well the moment when you laughed at the first joke I made. And the recollection of our pillow fight is still so dear to my heart.

When we first kissed and little hearts started to appear around our boots, I knew we were meant to be together.

Oh sorry, where was I? Ah, yes.

We both love money, and dream of making more money, so together we can gather riches. Our sex is gorgeous, and I can´t get enough of you. And those are just a few of the reasons I'm hoping you'll spend the rest of your life with me.

Last day of Uni for Luna and Eldred

Although Uni drags on and on, I am kind of sad that Luna and Eldred will leave the University after 4 years. The Greek House is still my favorite house in Uni, and the trio consisting of Eldred, Luna and Elaine was always fun to watch.

And I then realized that Elaine will be the last one in the Greek House. She will surely miss her buddies. I think I will roll the dice to find out who will be the lucky ones who will join her.

Eldred invites Aeon over (wo brings the Unsavory Charlatan along as a friend, which makes me afraid my game is borked, but he just hangs out and plays pool).

They start flirting in the bathroom (where else?):

Eldred has the wish that someone would flirt with him (it is obviously spring), but instead of taking the opportunity to spend some more time with Aeon, Eldred does what Eldred likes most, and this is not sex, but cleaning:

Oh, yes, you dirty little sink, give it to me!!

Thankfully, Aeon does not belong to the obsessive-compulsive faction, and stoically waits until Eldred is done.

Doesn´t he just look gorgeous? *sigh*

His sister Elaine is a real beauty, too. Tony and Akira just have pretty kids.

Ziggy Stardust, Elaine´s fiancé, drops by and leaves a gift for a date they had, a chess table.

He was made by strange_tomato who wrote the wonderful story "Strangetown, here we come", which was sadly never finished, but I so enjoyed reading it. He is a "breed" of Johnny Smith and Ripp Grunt and originally called Markus, and I just had to have him in my game.

And then the trio has exams, and soon Eldred and Luna will leave. I finished here, but they of course will throw one of their famous Greek House Parties before they will go.

Welcome and Jonah Powers I

Welcome to Rebellina´s Imaginary Friends, a site about my Sims 2-World!

I would like to share with you some of the adventures my little people go through ...

The neighbourhood has already been running for a few months, but I would like to jump right in with a character I fell in love with recently, Jonas Kraft in German, Jonah Powers in the English game. He was a premade character and so incredibly ugly, I had to give him a makeover. I stole this image from EA:

If you have played the premade household in University, you will recognize him as the guy on the right.

This is how my Jonah looks after some heavy makeover:

I let him move in into my first Greek house, founded by Miranda and Carlotta:

Carlotta Ramirez, another made-over gal (on the left) just had a little accident while repairing the computer. Miranda is understandably worried. Due to a glitch in the Autonomous Casual Romance mod (ACR), Carlotta got pregnant while being in Uni, the first time she hopped in bed with somebody! Argh!

But that is a different story, which I might write up another time. Miranda helped Carlotta raise her son Nikolai. They asked Wynona to join the Greek House and move in, so the three of them could take turns caring for the baby.

 It worked quite well. When it was time for them to graduate, they needed someone to stay in the Greek house, and this is when Jonah joined the house.

Since I am a little bit obsessed by changing the totally ugly EA-Sims, I was delighted to find that the Sim Blender, an object with many possibilites, worked well in my Mac game. It gives you the option to change the appearance of people just being on a lot, among many other useful features. So, there was this Sim walking by Jonah´s house, I think Dietmar Dodo was his name (duh!). Sadly, I did not get a screenshot before I put my hands on him :-)

But this is how he looked afterwards:

I think the hair is an old Trish hair, sadly, I could not find a more modern retexture, but this guy is so cute :-) He got a new name, I fiddled some more with the lipstick, and this is the final result - meet Eldred Rice:

Ok, the hair is terrible, but still, it fits him so well, I squealed when I first saw him!! He is truly one of my favorite characters in game ATM. Very shy, so whenever he flirts he gets totally embarassed, a neat freak who gets excited when he can clean the toilet and shower, and still loves to pretend he is such a cool guy with his dark gothic clothes:

Well, you can tell I am very fond of him, don´t you?

Jonah thought he was awesome, too. His first attempt to flirt was a failure, though:

... and got Eldred intrigued:

And then they hit it off really well:

So well, in fact, that Jonah dropped his Romance aspiration and became a Knowledge Sim like Eldred. That turned them into Threebolters instantly! Jonah went so far to get engaged with Eldred.

Sadly, sometimes changing the aspiration seems to keep some of the older aspiration still in place, so after a while, Jonah became a tad bored and started making out with his old love Mitch Indie again.

I was not sure where this relationship was going. Jonah was in his last year, ready to take his finals. Eldred is in his 2nd or 3rd year. They had Luna move in, daughter of Matt Hatter and the the result of an alien abduction:

(I am using a multi-pollination technician mod from the Garden of Shadows called "Stolen by Fairies" from Hat. Isn´t Luna just gorgeous???)

Luna sadly rolled a Romance aspiration (her father and step-father are both Knowledge Sims, and this is how I picture her, but I thought I could always change that later). She has been trying to flirt with Eldred (who wouldn´t?), but he has not been overly enthusiastic to get more deeply involved with her. He constantly rolls wants regarding Jonah, who in turn can´t make up his mind whether he wants to be with Mitch or Eldred.

So I thought I start a little story when Jonah leaves the Greek house after graduation. Wow, that was a longwinded introduction :-)

I had downloaded a few dark, gothic and haunted houses from Mod the Sims when another of my favorite characters, Cissy, fell in love with the Grand Vampire and decided to move to a new home with him (another story yet to be written ...)

One house seemed perfect for a new character starting out, and I redid it a bit to match the general gloomy atmosphere of the house:

I managed to creep myself out while I was rebuilding this house!! But I felt a little punishment would be just right for Jonah :-) He started out with 410 Simoleons.

He wanted to get a job either as a scientist or in the medical career, so I tagged these and hoped for the best, but on the first day, the paper didn´t offer any jobs for him. So I sent him downtown to work as a DJ. Luckily, he did not drop the earphones or played silly music, and even enjoyed himself.

Usually, he is not very playful, "Hot Hands" is my quickest way of boosting fun, and he just hates it ;-) Also, telling jokes is not his favorite thing.

Then it was off to my remade version of the Café Romara. I liked it so much I opened a branch in my main town, too.  Free dinner, a game of chess and a cup of coffee seemed like a good way to start his new life.

 

Then he spent most of his earnings on an easel. His lifetime want is to max all seven skills, and I thought it was a good way to keep him busy during his unemployment time.

 

I tried to follow his wants instead of making him do something. No want to speak to Eldred, sniff!! But Mitch called and invited him Downtown.

The whole University gang joins, except - Eldred :(

Jonah decides on another round of DJing, to maybe afford some dinner. He is hungry and very tired. And I forgot there is no BBQ or coffee machine on the Downtown lot. Argh!
